LUX METER Lux meter used to measure luminance levels in an animal housing unit. Light is a very powerful element (disturbance) in a behavioral experiment and needs to be controlled in hatcheries. Not only the light - dark cycle (circadian or not) but also the "quantity" of light received by the birds need to be analyzed and shall be controlled under strict discipline to ensure best health of chicks and birds.
