Description:

The pressure measurement lab set-up consists of different pressure measurement devices placed on different positions on a pipe line. An Orifice meter is fitted in the line to check the pressure difference.

The latest apparatus is a self-reliant water re-circulating unit, provided with a sump tank and a centrifugal pump etc. Flow in the water line is adjusted by Flow control valve and by-pass valve to conduct the experiment on different flow rates

Scope of Study:

• To demonstrate the working of different pressure measuring devices and difference in the readings.
• To measure the pressure at different levels and pressure measurement difference by pressure gauge, single column manometer, U-Tube manometer & Inclined tube manometer.

Single Well Manometer : Single Tube Type.
Differential Manometer : U Tube Type.
Sensitive manometer : Inclined Tube Type
Pre s sure Gauge : Bourdon Type
Water Circulation : ½ HP Pump, Champion/Standard make.
Sump Tank : Capacity 60 Liters.

Components mounted on the control panel are:

Standard make On/Off Switch, Mains Indicator etc.Tanks will be made of Stainless Steel.
